DUI Consequences & Chester County Opportunities

    In Pennsylvania, the minimum mandatory penalties for DUI/DWI are defined by state law. A consequences grid has been prepared by the state DOT to outline those penalties, by Tier and offense number. When a Pennsylvania DUI conviction occurs, those consequences can only be reduced by participating in an Intermediate Punishment program. The Chester County IP Program has a similar sentencing grid that outlines the reduction of minimum mandatory jail terms into electronic home monitoring and community service.
